Each house within Cider Mill School incorporates Wilton’s rich history since each of our houses are named after historical schoolhouses once found in Wilton—Kent and Belden Hill comprise our South House, while Cannondale and Nod Hill make-up our North House. Students may move flexibly between the two houses within the North or South side, creating a smaller, student-centered school community where students are encouraged to create, collaborate, think critically, and build the skills necessary to reach their fullest potential; now and in the future. Within each house, students and staff build a sense of belonging and positive school spirit. Throughout the school year, students and staff work hard to exemplify our 3 Rs - and show they are Respectful, Responsible and Ready to Learn
The center of Cider Mill holds our shared resources such as the main office, nurses’ office, guidance offices, music rooms, cafeteria, gymnasium, the stage, science laboratories, library learning commons and the cafeteria. Our cafeteria features a full kitchen and two service lines to ensure that students quickly settle down to their healthy lunch. The stage is equipped with full lighting and sound systems which allows for exciting performances by our students and staff as well as various enrichment programs supported by the PTA.
